The First

Well, It seems to have arrived. My new blog. The reason I say new is because this is the second blog I have. I started one ages ago (okay, like 3 years), but they were called online journals then. And I feel it was a little preachy, etc. Oh well. This will probably be the same. The reason I didn’t just pick that one up and start it over is because I can’t remember the web address of it. I remember there were a couple of good posts on there. It was just a matter of not being able to find them. (if anyone remembers where it was, can they tell me?)
I guess the standard for the first post is to tell you about myself. I’m an (almost) 23 year old that goes to Bradley University in Peoria. I’m a 5th year senior who will be graduating in May and has no idea what he is going to do with himself. I guess that’s life sometimes.

I just read everythign I wrote and realized its complete and utter crap. I should just end this right now and never post again, but what would be the point? I have to start something and carry it out. It seems to me that I rarely do things like that (finish things to their logical end). Maybe this will be the first, a revolution, if you will. Probably not. I’ll probably use it for about a week, and then forget about it. Sometimes I wonder if that’s actually for the best. By the way, that’s a picture I took a while ago of some bottles of K Cider (it’s good).

Anyway, that quote underneath the headline of the blog is the name of a song by a band called The Chariot. While I have never actually heard them, my friend Jason likes them, and I like the name of the song. I’m a sucker for bands who name their songs with long names. What can I say? No one’s perfect.
