I actually sat in on a couple of focus groups for this new Bible coming out. The advance copies I’ve seen have been fantastic. Its a very interesting new take on the bible that tries to place the bible in a continous historical and contemporary context. I had no idea some of my favorite writers were also involved in this process, but I definitely suggest you check it out.
